Founded in 1989, the Columbine Figure Skating Club (CFSC) is a member of US Figure Skating and is affiliated with the Mile High Figure Skating Association. Columbine uses the facilities of the Apex Center, a multiuse building (which features a water park, 3 gymnasiums, climbing wall, and weight-conditioning area, as well as 2 NHL ice rinks) which is part of the Apex Park and Recreation District.

The club is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of four officers and five general board members. Board members are elected for one- and two-year terms; elections are held during the general meeting in October. Every Home Club member, who has been a member at least 6 months and is over 18 years of age, may vote in elections.

Our enrollment year corresponds with the US Figure Skating's membership year. In order to remain members, reenrollment is required every year.
